I ricercatori cercano continuamente informazioni sulla natura e sui modelli dei sotto-renditori dotati che possano illuminare gli interessati. I consulenti sono particolarmente coinvolti, poich\u00e9 spesso viene chiesto loro di fornire chiarimenti e interventi. Questo studio dimostra come le informazioni nel fascicolo scolastico cumulativo, accessibile al consulente scolastico, siano una risorsa ricca<br\/>per comprendere i modelli di rendimento e sotto-rendimento tra gli studenti identificati come dotati e per l&#8217;uso nella pianificazione di interventi per studenti a rischio di sotto-rendimento. I partecipanti erano studenti dotati (N = 153) che sono stati determinati essere o realizzatori o sotto-renditori, in base alla loro media dei voti alla laurea. Realizzatori alti e moderati e<br\/>sotto-renditori moderati ed estremi sono stati confrontati su informazioni trovate nel fascicolo scolastico, come presenza, ritardi, selezione dei corsi e inizio e durata del sotto-rendimento. I risultati indicano che ci sono differenze tra realizzatori e sotto-renditori su un certo numero di variabili trovate nei fascicoli scolastici.
