AEST, through its programs, promotes the development of social and emotional aspects and encourages various types of growth, such as:
- Teaching them not to feel different and to be able to embrace who they are, recognizing their differences from others and among their peers.
- Promoting creative thinking, as well as logical reasoning.
- Encouraging cooperative attitudes over competitive ones, or those stemming from low self-esteem.

- Parent education through workshops, conferences, and all relevant information concerning giftedness, laws, regulations, and scholarships.
