Spanish Association for Gifted and Talented Children, Adolescents, and Adults (AEST)

Its purpose is to serve and help the group of high abilities and talents: children and their families, as well as adults, both members and users. In a completely altruistic way.

AEST, through its programs, promotes the development of social and emotional aspects and encourages various types of growth, such as:

  • Teaching them not to feel different and to be able to embrace who they are, recognizing their differences from others and among their peers.
  • Promoting creative thinking, as well as logical reasoning.
  • Encouraging cooperative attitudes over competitive ones, or those stemming from low self-esteem.
  • Continuous information.
  • Parent education through workshops, conferences, and all relevant information concerning giftedness, laws, regulations, and scholarships.
