Margaret Sutherland

Professor Margaret Sutherland is Emeritus Professor of High Ability Studies and Inclusive Practice at the University of Glasgow and Director of the Scottish Network for Able Pupils (SNAP). Her staff biography notes that she has 43 years of teaching experience and continues to support schools, teachers, parents and children through her work with SNAP. She has authored numerous papers and books on gifted education, serves on editorial boards of international journals, and regularly delivers keynote addresses and workshops across the UK and abroad. Sutherland also serves as treasurer of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children and promotes inclusive approaches that recognise high abilities in early years education.
