In 2001, she received her PhD in the Social Sciences from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Her dissertation focused on social comparison processes and jealousy. Since then, she has conducted extensive scientific research on various social psychological issues and problems in diverse contexts, including classrooms, intimate relationships, and organizations.
In addition to publishing the results of these studies in scientific journals, she is actively involved in the valorization of the findings, driven by a strong belief that scientific knowledge and its applications should benefit everyone.
